Tourism industry overwhelmingly focused in south. Main tourist locations are town of Kuta (with its beach), outer suburbs of Legian and Seminyak, Sanur, Jimbaran and Oberoi. Famous Balinese dances include pendet, legong, baris, topeng, barong, gong keybar and kecak (the monkey dance). Diverse and sophisticated art forms such as painting, sculpture, wood carving, handcrafts and performing arts. Balinese percussion orchestra music is known as gamelan.
